Bible side conversation 5: Pharaoh’s dream of seven plump cows
Side conversations (or in this case, bovine actions) that might have just happened in the Bible.
Genesis 41:1–4

After two whole years, Pharaoh dreamed that he was standing by the Nile, and behold, there came up out of the Nile seven cows, attractive and plump, and they fed in the reed grass. And behold, seven other cows, ugly and thin, came up out of the Nile after them, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the Nile.
Giles, the gaunt speckled cow moved along the bank of the river. Feeling famished, he gazed to his left, and then slowly to his right.
Jerleen, a full-figured white-as-snow meticulously groomed cow, caught his attention. His heart rate sped up a bit as he took in her lavish appearance, with a deep moo sound.
Her beauty caused him to choke a little on the sunburnt grass he was chewing on. He knew the others six of his mates were hungry and itching for some plump attractive beef, so he sauntered over to Jerleen as suavely as he could, and nuzzled up to her, gently nudging her along the river bank, in an effort to move her over the hill and out of sight from the other cows.
Jerleen, having grown up with a number of extroverted sisters, tended to be shy around the boys. But she smiled a reluctant smile at Giles, while dramatically batting her thick eyelashes. She giggled a little as the two of them moved along the river side. A devilish sneer appeared on his face, as the innocent Jerleen played right into the hands of the crafty and hungry Giles.
And the ugly, thin cows ate up the seven attractive, plump cows. And Pharaoh awoke.
